Technology Enabled Clothing

The SCOTT eVEST is a pretty nifty vest that has lots of pockets and special channels to run your earphone and microphone wires up to the collar. It's a little pricey at $119, but a cool idea all the same. I wonder if it will become more common for clothing to have built-in tech compatibility in the future?

BBEdit 6.5 Is Out!

I just discovered this morning that BBEdit 6.5 is now available so I quickly placed my online upgrade order. Hopefully I'll be able to download it later today.

Cool new features that I especially like:
  • New! BBEdit command-line tool: invoke BBEdit from anywhere in the Unix command line to open files
  • New! Flexible 'grep' style pattern-based search and replace now based on PCRE
  • New! Syntax coloring, function navigation, and markup support for CSS (cascading style sheets); this includes contextual markup support via the "Tag Maker" interface.
  • New! Direct integration with Mac OS X native Perl environment, as well as Python and unix shell scripts
