Hunt the Boeing I hadn't actually seen the "Hunt the Boeing" stuff, which is pretty decent misinformation. Paul Boutin does a nice job of coming up with answers. The whole energy one is pretty transparent, once you remember that the Pentagon plane did not slam in at full-throttle, like the WTC planes.

Contract, shmontract Beware Employment Contracts[slashdot.org], an interesting little thread, 'specially as I've had conversations with a few people in the past couple of months about contracts. A lot of people don't realize that they can change them, and they can really cover your ass. Mind you, I was taught this by an ex-lover, who also got me on part of the path I'm still on today.

I'm entertained to note in the /. conversation that someone also quotes the "Courtney Love does the math" article over on Salon. As always, a good read for those "Don't screw the artists" folks in the "Share Music" campaign.

iPod Update Well, iPod 1.1 Update seems to have gone pretty smoothly. Of course, I don't have contacts anywhere in a really organized format, but I'll work on that, so I can use the contacts feature. Now I have to decide if I wanna sell my "bought new" 5GB model to boost me to a 10GB model. I prolly can't really justify it.

Additional note: The Contacts can hold a pretty serious amount of information. I wonder what the size limit is? Time to drop a few eBooks on the iPod? :)

Big Blue Speaks Up The Inquirer: IBM rebuts 120GXP hard drive problem. [Hack the Planet]

Well, so finally they enter the fray. I like the part where they say they'll still honor the warranty regardless of power on usage. Which'll make me a feel a lot better after I lose that 100+GB of stuff off my hard drive.
