Robert Scoble is thinking about his Career Dreams, and I, being laid off, have had them on my mind lately too. And, we both have almost the same idea of the perfect job. I think we should work for the same company, he can be in the silicon valley office and I'll take the Boston one...

Both articles are pretty interesting. I've had it on my mind a bit lately, albeit for very different reasons than being laid off. I've been talking to other folks at the company where I work, and have been, in a lot of ways, really having to change the focus of what I've usually done for a living. It's interesting, but tends to fill your head with a lot of stuff that needs assimilation.

So here's a queston for you Mac OS X users out there...

Do you find yourself not installing software simply because it will require you to restart your system?

I don't mean because it takes forever, I mean just because it will require a reboot. I'm finding myself really enjoying seeing how long my machine runs under X without reboots. Judging from how many programs exist to show how long it's been since you rebooted, I'm guessing I'm not alone...:)
