I must be in the minority here. I would prefer Graffiti over thumb boards, and what I would like most is full-on handwriting recognition. Remember the Newton? Remember how many years ago that the Newton had somewhat dodgey handwriting recognition? Surely, handwriting recognition has advanced in the last 8 years, right? [Mac Net Journal]
Let me be crystal clear, here. The Newton's HWR system SUCKED....
...until the MessagePad 130. By the time it was killed, Rosetta(The HWR) rocked. This is coming from someone who has horrible handwriting.
As the owner of a MP 2100 (Last of the line) I think that it's amazing that nothing has come out as good, and while it's nice that the tech will be in "Jaguar" (Mac OS 10.2), I want something I can carry and write on.
The iPod took away the last chance of my getting a Palm (contact list), and now I just need something less ungainly than my iBook for writing notes. Teeny keyboards just don't cut it for me. I can walk and write without looking, I can't walk and type.
