I'm not pro-war, but all the estimates of what it would cost to win the war I've heard are missing one thing. We can pay for reconstructing Iraq by pumping oil. We can also pay ourselves back for the cost of the war. [Scripting News]
I guess that I am having trouble with this. We take the oil, sell it, and use the proceeds to recontruct Iraq and pay ourselves back for the cost of taking the oil in the first place.
What a lovely idea, but why stop at Iraq. If we took over the entire region, we could convert them all to western Christian democracies and give ourselve a handsome raise as well.
What a bold vision! Perhaps that's reason that people around the world are concerned with our plans for Iraq?
