My second dog at Top Dog didn't quite cut it. I got the linguisa, and while it was exceptionally lean, it lacked the flavor that I expect from a linguisa.

Perhaps my days on the festa circuit have me expecting too much. But three hours later, I am not having linguisa burps. While this is probably a plus, Top Dog's linguisa is still a little lacking.

Expect another report soon.

I am pleased to state that at the one year mark, ES Designs Manila Hosting is a success. We are hosting domains for non-profit and educational groups in the US, the UK, Japan, Germany, and India.

In the past year, my clients have challenged me to provide a better hosting environment. In response, I have developed an number of new features: Every new site under a domain can now have custom preferences. The subscription page for new sites now starts with a list of feeds from that domain only. And, there are new macros that provide sites and domains information that they need.

I thank all my clients for their business and suggestions. In the coming year, I am committed to exceed your expectations.

Thank you again, Tom Clifton

Jeff Jarvis says the latest news is breaking Lieberman's way. I agree. [Scripting News]

I will start this off with, "I haven't decided who to support in the next presidential election." But as you will see, my choices are getting narrower daily.

The logic that uses the capture of Sadam to portend the re-election of Bush or the ascension of any Democrat who supported the war is flawed. Anyone who says "If Howard Dean had his way, Saddam Hussein would still be in power today, not in prison, and the world would be a more dangerous place." is missing half of the equation.

If Howard had his way and this war was never started. Saddam would still be in power and the non-existent weapons of mass destruction would still be non-existent.

If this war had never started, 530 coalition men and women might still be alive.

If this war had never started, 7539 Iraqi civilians might still be alive.

If this war had never started, the US would not be paying nearly $5 billion/month for operations in Iraq and Afganistan.

If this war had never started, our allies since the Second World War would still respect us, and might listen to us and help when we proposed plans to rebuild Iraq.

So, we have finally captured Saddam and made Iraq a safer place for Iraqis. But was it worth the price?

The capture of Saddam cannot mask the fact, the United States will suffer for years from this war.

I am happy for the Iraqi people. They as all people of world deserve freedom.

But, I am bitter that cost was so high for Americans. It didn't have to be. Our President pushed this, when he didn't have to. The costs in people and money don't equal the benefits.

I won't forget those who said this war wrong.
