Today I gave up my fight to make sure that I didn't lose anything headed for my in box. I am now receiving over 500 spam messages a day. Fortunately most of these are caught by SpamAssassin on my mail server. Until today, I would occasionally put on my hip-boots and wade into the trash folder on my server to see if any good messages had been mis-identified. I haven't found any in the last several weeks, so SpamAssassin has been doing a good job. Today, I decided that I am not going to wade in any more. I will just empty the trash folder, I won't look inside. I may miss something important, oh well.
