Last week, I was sitting in the dentist's chair about to get an old filling replaced. As my dentist was exploring around the filling, I started to focus on the music coming out to the radio.
"Uhhg"
Paul, my dentist, pulled out the explorer and asked "Was that sensitive?"
"No, they are playing Christmas carols on the radio."
Christmas in November. It is just wrong.
Orchard Supply had its Christmas items on sale before Halloween.
Christmas is in December, it isn't spread out over multiple months. Expanding the season diminishes its meaning. I don't care if you are celebrating your Saviors birth or the lengthening days after the solstice. Both occur in December, not a month or two earlier.
You will know that we have completely lost it when they start showing "A Charlie Brown Christmas" before "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving".
