It looks like the first significant rain of the season is on its way. The last significant rain in the Bay Area was on May 3, 2003. Our six month drought is almost over. I am preparing for the rain by covering the garage roof with plastic. This will be the third year that I have done this. The roof is about 50 years old and in dire need of replacement. But, the plastic is cheap, can go up in an hour, and will last the season. Next summer, I promise, I will get the roof done. 1:47:49 PM     Comment []
