I just sent the CCA Advisor to the printer. One of regular columns in the Advisor is Oliver's Report, which provides a dog's eye view of neighborhood happenings.

Last night Michele said that Shasta should have a column as well. Today I asked Shasta for a cat's eye view of the neighborhood. Here it is:

I've grown tired of the incessant barking by the dog crowd in the neighborhood. There are a lot of cats out here as well. We are just as important to the neighborhood fabric as the stupid...

Hold that thought, I need to run outside and roll on the warm, dusty driveway. Back in a flash!

Now let see, where was I? Oh yea, this neighborhood has a perverse preoccupation with dogs. Bark in the Park? what a stupid...

Oh wait, it's One O'Clock, I get fed at Three!! I need to start reminding Tom NOW!

Ok, I am back again and reasonably sated. I don't understand why I have to spend two hours every day jumping up on the desk and walking on the keyboard, just to get noticed. Feed me already!

And what is this business of grabbing me and putting me on the floor just after I jump up to the desk. Those jumps aren't easy you know. It's really FRUSTRATING to make a great jump and then...

You know, I am feeling a little tired right now, I think I will go lie down for a short little nap.

Wow, I feel refreshed now. A quick nap is always good. Why is it dark out? You know I never get to go out after dark? Why is that, I'm a black cat, I should go out at night. Hunting during the day is the pits, I stand out like a sour thumb in the sunlight. It drives me crazy and makes me want to...

Oh, Michele is watching TV, I might as well jump up and see what she is watching. She can even rub my back if she is considerate. She watches the dullest shows. I think I might just have to take a little snooze.

Maybe I'll write more tomorrow.
