NY Times: Bush Urges Conservation as Retail Gas Prices Rise. President Bush called on the Americans today to conserve gasoline and avoid non-essential driving as the average national prices for retail gasoline climbed higher for the first time since they peaked over the Labor Day weekend.
Better late than never for the president to talk about conservation (and maybe actually mean it).

Yes, it is good to see that someone realizes that our President's call to conserve echos a former President's words. If we had listened to Jimmy then, we wouldn't be in the state we are today.
