LOL, when I was at Santa Cruz, I made the ride up to my office once. It took me 15 minutes to get to the base of campus from my apartment on Berkeley Way (off Water Street), then another 15 to climb up to Physical Sciences building. From my office to the apartment that evening, it took me 12 minutes.
I was soured by the asymmetry.
