referer fun I've admitted before that I'm somewhat addicted to check my referer page, and found that my blog is being syndicated on a page of python programmers. That's somewhat cool, and somewhat surprising, since I wonder what a bunch of python programmers care about my anniversary trip or musings on why I find it hard to write.
Still, any publicity is good publicity. Flow is what it's about. |

passive I hate it when I'm passive. And I'm passive too much. Passive is comfortable. It's easy to just agree with someone else's opinion rather than coming up with one of your own. Even if you disagree with someone's opinion, you are still letting them make the choice. One of the things that makes it so I don't write is passivity. It starts as a belief that no one really needs to hear what I have to say. Largely that's true, but using it as an excuse not to write is just lazy. There's another reason that I stopped writing for a while. I went through a little bit of a minor medical scare, and I didn't really feel like sharing that with the greater world until I knew what the other side of it looked like, and could say that all in all, I'm alright. There are some pills that I'll be taking long term, but things are mostly all right. Just a little bit of hypertension.
