relax

This was the right thing to do. Hanging out on the water, having a beer. This is the Northwest equivalent to hanging on the beach with a fruity drink in your hand. Beautiful day, relaxing pace, this is the way to celebrate an anniversary. (for those of you keeping score, the official anniversary, our eighth, is tomorrow.)

mystery revealed

Well, the mystery has been revealed.

We are staying in a bed and breakfast in Port Townsend, located in the Ann Starret Mansion. We're in the top suite, and it's got two bedrooms and a sitting area, along with the requisite beautiful bathroom.

My wife did well, picking up this accomodation through the Red Cross charity auction. She got this room for two nights as well as two dinners for far less than what it would normally cost.

And I don't have to go to work tomorrow. This is cool.
