I love Alaska in the summer, and I love Alaska in the winter, but I don't really love Alaska too much in November when there is still no snow on the ground, when the sun comes up after I head off to work and sets before I head home, and especially, especially, when everything gets coated by freezing rain before I put my studded tires on.
