ok silly, sleep through class again or what?  who'd have thought! to use File|Open from radio8 (you know the gui that comes up from the tray menu's 2nd option.. (can we have a global hotkey please?)) to open the weblogData.root file as a scrapbook/native home for the dandruff like snippets of code that are poping up left and right. good finger retraining practice. |999,999 blind spots in my brain|- .. why do i need to use the mouse in the outliner? was i sleeping again?   you got it? FILE OPEN!

content management is already dead.. lets get to context managed content pretty please. and soon! i dont want to have to do the f* work to get this blog thing to divorce itself from the calendar concept.

will someone please add a lunar/solar/pof layer of slicing the contents? that would keep me happy for a few days.

what about stories per category? how much pain will that be? where's the docs on the outline viewer? i need to go breathe.

awesome meeting with bw, repositioned his product positioning and development team efforts toward an adapter technology which was/is so damn obvious if you know how to look. dissonance/happiness-quotient thinking rules again; we're both smiling and hugging on the way out.

we've known each other professionally for a while now.. but i think this 'coming out' as a chinese doctor of sorts that gets paid to keep the patient healthy is truly the thing for me. i damn well know how to keep open and i'm thrilled that he's known me long enough to 'get' what it is i actually do before i ever do anything.

"dissonant ideas are those that when cleared up bend space around them by the weight of their importance. thats how i see them."

powerful stuff. gotta find some angels to keep out of trouble next. this is going to be loads of fun!

encountering spurious <p>'s (since categorizing posts?)  and found (tried!)no way yet to put the category name or an icon for it in the log on the main page made me bug the author of the styles for help. 'd be best to inline topic icons. time will teach..

auto story page header makes me wonder about the on/offline junction of that aspect. link back is ng..

had hoped the xml link definition on the homepage would turn into a smart toolbar. doesnt. bummer.

i'm starting to tell myself to chill and read till 8.1 yuck. i hate that.

robots.txt.... now there's something you've forgotten about isnt it? put one in the www dir and any # sign comments will get your file deleted. and if you take 'em out you get it renamed to .html!  .. do any of the blog tools respect that convention anyhow? i wouldn't bet on it.

hey there!

"life's a complex beast of great simplicity which culture removes us from for its own ends." .. or that's what i've observed to date.

my part in it so far has been to keep that awareness shrouded behind services offered and systems produced. this has severely limited my ability to think clearly as it has kept me to closely tied to so called conventional wisdom.. which is nice term behind which impotent rent-seekers hide their pitiful linear thinking while frustrating the life of everyone around them. i think we all know this and to one degree or another suffer from it.

having transitioned myself away from the technical career i built out of self-defense i am now focused on building an offering where the sharp and blunt sides of my abilities are made available to the significant few. i'm an expert in perceiving and diagnosion dissonance in and accross domains with a knack for repurposing what is there. i'm not a teacher but you can learn from me.

i'm usually civilized and well spoken, multilingual, and churning on something. professionally i have high aspirations and a track-record of success. having made enough enemies by communicating things i see that others dont i know that what i _really do is going to be much more profitable and rewarding than the services i have peddled to date.

so, hi! thanks for checking out my checking out of radio8. CQ DX :)

never having had to have a resume i trust that by sharing of my own complexity, the taking of some risks,  those that have the knots that rouse my passions will find me here as the year moves on. welcome!

cant believe i woke up early on a weekend.. that's trouble in this user's land..

question: why oh why doesnt ftp.server.net/../../www_pages/me/radio/ work in the ftp settings?

after many tries and permutations i think its the leading ../../ that screws it up. one file got to the server once. dang.  i like control but i dont really care. where's the f* outsider's guide to dave's stuff? whats he want for multihoming?

nonono! i'm not going to let some piece of super duper code put subliminal pressure on me to produce regulat updates just so someone somewhere thinks to track my stuff... broken concept!
