I believe that it is a false dichotomy to offer either humiliation at the hands of our military or appeasement at the hands of our diplomats. Our culture will survive and become the world's culture because it is adaptive, the most adaptive culture ever seen on the face of the Earth. We take whatever works and make it work better. We are at our best when we bring the best that others offer into our society. If you have good ideas and work hard, you can accomplish wonderful things here. At least, you have a better chance of accomplishing that then anywhere else in the world.That is why people want to be a part of what we are. Because, deep down, we are them. At least the better part of them. We must find a way to use our unique strengths to solve these problems in creative ways. It will not come by putting people into different categories but by bringing together people of determination and permitting them to create the knowledge that will find a way. 12:10:26 AM
