HyperCard Long Gone?

Wired News seems to have lost its ability to do math. In this excerpt HyperCard is 20 years old. In the story they say it hasn't been updated in about 15 years, even though it was "first released in 1989." HyperCard was actually released in 1988, but Wired isn't even internally consistent.
