The Hunted
Here's an odd quote from Mick LaSalle's review of The Hunted in SF Gate:
With an opening and closing voice-over by Johnny Cash, Friedkin tries to frame the action as an Abraham and Isaac story, but the father-son connection isn't strong enough to carry such emotional heft.
I just saw the movie; don't bother. What's odd about this quote is that what Johnny Cash is intoning is not some biblical account of Abraham and Isaac, but the first verse of Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited. Of course the first verse is "about" the biblical story, but it's also about other things.
