The Waffle Wagon Visits Prescott, Arizona.
The Arizona Bush-Cheney Waffle Wagon recently made a pit stop in
Prescott, Arizona to have a conversation about some of John Kerry’s
waffling whoppers. More than 45 Bush-Cheney supporters turned out to
hear Arizona State Senate President Ken Bennett... [Bush-Cheney '04 Blog]
More than 45? Really? That's some crowd.

What's the Opposite of "The Midas Touch?". I guess it's appropriate that a war founded on lies, and followed up with lies, should also be fought with lies. Turns out, of the 50 airstrikes against "high value targets" the U.S. launched in the early days of the war, our success rate was: O.
An explicit account of the zero for 50 record in strikes on high-value targets was provided by Marc Garlasco, a former Defense Intelligence Agency official who headed the joint staff's high-value targeting cell during the war. Mr. Garlasco is now a senior military analyst for Human Rights Watch, and he was a primary author of the December report, "Off Target: The Conduct of the War and Civilian Casualties in Iraq."
And even though we didn't hear a lot about these casualties in Rumsfeld's preening press conferences, it also turns out that such a cavalier attitude toward civilian casualties has plenty of consequences, in Iraq, if not here:
In an e-mail message, Mr. Garlasco described the campaign to attack high-value targets as "abject failure," saying, "We failed to kill the H.V.T.'s and instead killed civilians and engendered hatred and discontent in some of the population."
No s***.
