About a year ago I moved my main website from Frontier 4.2.3a (which had been generating it for almost ten years) into "CityDesk". I had made a large number of modifications and changes to the default website renderer in that ancient version of Frontier, and when UserLand broke everything with Frontier 5 I wasn't interested in starting over (and the $900 price tag back then didn't help).
I decided to post the old Frontier website in case anyone had a historical interest in what a Frontier website from the mid 1990s looked like. The file is a 5 MB download.

Samizdata slogan of the day. "The Government uses a false dichotomy that liberty and security have to be traded off against each other. But you can indeed have both life and liberty. The freedom to express yourself short of inciting violence does not threaten security but bolsters it: I want to know exactly who my enemies are by reading their freely spoken words. And when they cross the line and incite people to terrorism, I want the Government to do the one thing with my tax money of which I approve: protect me from these nutters by throwing them in jail or out of the country." [Samizdata.net]
It's ironic that Perry de Havilland wants the government to throw several of the commentors on his own website in jail or out of the country. But doubt he thinks of it that way. I expect he's perfectly okay with inciting terrorism as long as it's directed against Muslims.

Vista Screen Shots. So I promised that I'd post a few screenshots, and so here they are. Caution -- image-heavy post, so dial-up users should beware! [Ramblings]
As long as the option to use the Windows 95 style UI, as it does in XP, they can mess up the Vista interface all they want.
