Yeah, glad to see this! I worked for Netscape when they hit the wall. While Microsoft certainly wasn't the only cause, they definitely hurt the company in some very serious ways. We heard about all kinds of nastyness that cost Netscape deals, sometimes even deals that were already bought and paid for.
There is one irony in this though, AOL also did a pretty fair amount of damage to Netscape. This involved the deal to bundle Netscape with AOL. The day after the Netscape deal was announced, AOL announces that IE would be the default browser. That was a massive slap in the face to Netscape and did very serious damage.
