This is kind of old news, but I just noticed that X-Hive released version 2.0 of their native XML database in December. X-Hive easily has the most interesting deployment of a native XML database with the Benetton Formula 1 team. Being a bit of a Formula 1 fan, it's pretty cool to see something happening there.

Mac OS X Hints: Free basic image enhancer for use with iPhoto. [mac.scripting.com]
I just checked this app out, and it really is a great add on to iPhoto for those who don't already have a nice suite of graphics apps. I definitely fall into that category. I set it up as the double click app for iPhoto and it does a really great job on fixing up many of the less then pristine shots that I have. To top it off it's free too.

Sun has included Xindice as the data store used by their UDDI implementation in the Java Web Services Developer Pack.
This is the first commercial use of the Xindice code base that I am aware of. They don't have an installer for Mac OS X so I can't run it, but it looks like they've shipped a pretty much complete Xindice installation. I knew they were working on a UDDI server, just wasn't sure of exactly what form the release would take.
