The Fine Art of Flash Banner Ads. I wrote this after realising that far too many advertising agency creatives, account managers and clients still do not get web advertising. A Definition of Flow. This quote is from Dave Winer’s Scripting News. Flow—a term coined by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, a psychology professor at the University of Chicago. “People enter a flow state when they are fully absorbed in activity during which they lose their sense of time and have feelings of great satisfaction.” Flow—I like it! 9:13:45 AM    Add a comment.
