The opening of the Artrage Bread Box Gallery was tonight. Great to see so many people make it to the event. Many thanks to Artrage for their support, Alin Huma for the invitation, Tony Nathan for his part, and Block Branding for their work on the book.
The lab that printed my prints for the show managed to do the exact opposite of everything that I asked them to do, except for cropping. They did not arbitrarily crop my photographs, for which I am pathetically grateful. But they screwed up everything else.
I will be demanding free reprints early next week, and will be rehanging the show during the week. Pity the people who attended tonight didn’t get to see decent prints.
But as mentioned before, these prints will be stand-ins for the real things, archival pigment inkjet prints. There are no printers who make archival pigment inkjet prints in Perth, as it turns out.
