Dave Winer Back On His Feet. Weblog writer and creator of the UserLand Radio 8.0 weblogging software Dave Winer was taken ill and off to hospital the previous Friday, but he is now back in front of the computer, and he says he has sworn off smoking forever. In fact he is now having problems being in his own house because of the cigarette stench embedded in everything in it.       Phew, that was a close call! I can’t do without my daily dose of Dave. And the idea of weblogging without UserLand Radio and its industry-leading constant evolution is unthinkable. 7:16:35 AM    Add a comment.
