In The Trees Fight Back The Economist asks “Should old media embrace blogging?”
Then they go on to say “Blogging has taken off thanks to the development of online tools, such as Blogger and UserLand, which make it simple and cheap to update personal web content instantly.”
Don’t forget to do your fact-checking before publishing, guys. I know most trad journalists don’t bother to fact-check any more. UserLand is a software firm, not a software product. Radio 8.0 is the product.
When you refer to Photoshop 7, do you call it Adobe instead? “I fixed the red eye problem with Adobe.” I am zealous on this point as many people, including journalists, refer to the company that makes Macintosh computers and other products with very different names as “Mac”. Quote: “I am amazed Mac is still making computers. Gee, is Mac still making a profit?” Unquote.
Yes guys, Apple Computers is. These fundamental mistakes cause you to question the speaker’s knowledge and authority.
