d00d. I like it. Would have been useful at MacHack... 'cept we would need some new ones:

  • AS (applescript)
  • FW (FireWire)
  • C++ (duh)
  • Obj-C (Objective-C (and Cocoa))
  • OT (OpenTransport)
  • QT (QuickTime)
  • UB (UberGeek)

Ok. I just downloaded Apple's Backup utility (part of it's "new" .Mac services.)

It lets you backup to Apple's servers, or to burn your own (CD-R or DVD-R) disk. But it would be REALLY nice if it let you backup to a "random" AppleShare volume too. (like backing up the Powerbook to the mac sitting on my desk, for example)

Come ON Apple, let's get some inter-op!
