After turning the iMac off for an afternoon, letting it sit, then using it all evening... I haven't heard a click (maybe I missed it, but...). This is annoying.. and durned hard to troubleshoot....

The iMac, who I thought was fixed with a brand new, Maxtor drive, is not. This drive, while really quiet, is starting to click too.

I think it's official... the iMac is (for all intensive purposes) dead.
