This leaves a question in my mind... how does it handle resource forks?

I bet WebDAV doesn't support them... and this guy is using a x86 BSD box - (probably not with HFS)

And it looks like some good people (the Loebrichs) have used RSS Distiller to create RSS feeds for it.

I'm going to give them a shot, and report back on how good they are...

update: Can't see them on my aggregator. Nuts.

Note to Google: RSS feeds might be a nice feature. It would be worth considering!

When I was up at Casino Niagara a few weeks ago, they used what looked like a scanner of this nature. And UV(?) lights for those that have paper-like drivers licenses (my friends, from NY state, had these kind of licenses).

In my mind it's a better solution then supporting the Nationwide ID System
