From the Football Dept.

Arsenal see off Man City. Goals from Sylvain Wiltord and Thierry Henry earn Arsenal a 2-1 victory against Manchester City. [BBC News | Front Page]

Oh I wish I could have seen it. These are world-class teams. Evenly matched. I need to watch more soccer.

From the RANT dept:

US citizens back web controls. [BBC News | TECHNOLOGY]

I think this might be the same survey I linked to a couple of weeks ago.. but I don't see how one can legislate the Internet.

Ok, so the US puts up this giant firewall and blocks sites like make-a-bomb.org. Who decides what's on that list? Remember, PGP Is Considered A Weapon, along with other things such as strong SSH.

I believe even "high level" SSL (128 bit? 168 bit?) is also considered a weapon.

in the case of PGP this may have been overturned. A quick web-search wasn't able to point me to authoritative documents)

I'm sure this wouldn't be limited to encryption. Am I a news source for terrorists?

Remember it just takes one person somewhere to make a tunnel/mirror available, and you're firewall is blown away... (like This Guy)
