From the Boob-Toobe Dept:

dagg and breaking the tv addiction [kuro5hin]

Another thing about K5 is that they seem to have better polls then Shashdot. It's nice to see intelligent polls, for a change.

From the Switchers Dept:

Switching Lifestyles and Switching OSes

Good stuff.

From the Apple-And-The-Press Dept:

Milking an Apple [MacCentral]

Hmmmmmmm....

From the Shareware Dept:

Making Money Writing Shareware for the Mac? [Macslash]

Insightful commentary.

From the Nigerian-Money-Laundering Dept:

The NEW Nigerian 419 Scam [Mike Cohen's Blog]

Most wonderful.

From the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Dept:

Code Reuse (and its problems)

I think Steven nails it on the head here - code reuse works nicely when it's good code you're using, and poorly when it is not.

Good code for one purpose may be sub-optimal for another, however. Then you have a problem. Of course, sometimes you don't relize this until you're half way through the project - or worse, years down the road.
