From the DMCA Dept: Aaron Swartz on Illinois's Super-DMCA Very scary stuff. I've been taping a lot of TV lately - some even when I'm watching it. Would I be voilating the Super DCMA? It could be, if I'm helping someone access the information that didn't pay for it. (Like watching it with a friend) So if I give one of my tapes to my sister (who is without cable) I would be, even though these tapes have commercials and everything on them (like copywrite notices, and station logos). Letting people borrow your CDs? You could be breaking the law.... Be forewarned. Oh, and buy your Wireless products now, before they're illegal... |

From the Redesign Dept: Yoinks! I was looking for the link to my info and I almost couldn't find it. I knew I had added it somewhere. Then I found it, hiding, at the top of every page (in white... wwaayyy up there) Then I relized that I probably need a general redesign. Gah, I doubt I'll have time this week, but it's on the ToDo List. It doesn't help matters that Radio makes this harder than it should be (it lacks a 'Preview Locally' function). |
