From the Retrospective Dept:

Stevenf | (Blogging) Anew

From the Hating-The-Tools Dept:

kuro5hin | The Unix Haters Handbook Released to public

Things I hate about unix:

  • Apache (sometimes)
  • Sendmail (most of the time)
  • tcsh (I'm a Korn shell person)
  • Umm... I guess that's about it

From the Features Dept:

I set up a wiki for my company. I've been meaning to do it for some time - I find that wikis are a good way to store random bits of information. I suspect a buisness major would consider this a knowledge management system - although I'm not sure.

It's very sad - I must have sat through a dozen presentations on KM systems but I still haven't heard a good elevator statement for them.

I'm using Sakara as my wiki.

Apparently sakara means 'fish' in Japanesse (although I can't find it - Disadvantage #1 of wikis: hard to find information sometimes.)

Oh, and BTW... sheets as an interface concept don't seem to work for me in tabbed browsers. Although I guess modal dialogs don't make much sense either.
