Too much death

This has got to stop.

I learned this morning that J. Carter Brown died. I worked with him once.

I didn't agree with him about everything, but he was a good man and did some wonderful things for my city. He was a true believer in the civic value of art, and he helped make it accessible to a lot of people. He was a patrician who did good work with his privilege.
