Fathers & Daughters

One of the wonderful things about the web is getting to hear about lives that the commercial media don't focus on.

I just noticed that several sites I visit regularly (The Bleat, Ruzz, Terebi II) frequently contain loving observations by fathers of the rewards and challenges of their relationships with their daughters. Although their ages vary, these are men for whom being a father is an essential, joyful, and profound commitment. These engaged fathers give me hope for our society ~ and are proof positive that social change can happen in our lifetimes.

Thank you James, Ruzz, Dan ~ Gnat, Tegan, and Kelly are lucky girls.
