"The New Chief. Our resident Zen monk (finally) gets a new boss." [Erehwon Notebook] That "monk" would be me, who has not felt as though he has been very Zen-like of late. 'The Master does not contend', 'of all things most yielding...' and all that. There has been too much Sturm und Drang. Hopefully, that is past. Francis Beland was a pleasant surprise — the choice from left field, if you will. We did not think he had a chance in the final selection process. Happy Surprise!
