Some initial weirdness around categories. I'm sure it's been reported, but things like the category name not changing from the default "My Organization" or whatever to something. I edited mine but I'm still seeing the "My..." names everywhere.

WYSIWYG editor... gotcha! First attempt at below post added my html to the visible page. Gotta watch that!

I stripped out the many annoying href's to Userland  - ha ha ha ha! I feel so evil. Seriously though, this tool is actually pretty cool. If they can work out the multiple users/multiple apps to blog ratio issues (and multiple blog ability too!) and make templating easier (ever so slightly) then they have a winner. MT is still winning for me because of the centralized editing (I can edit at home and at work), multiuser capable and because of multiple blogs. Templates are a bitch in MT. Why isn't there an "Import Template" feature? Keep up the good work Dave and crew!

I wish this thing would give me a detail readout of each error on the events page. I keep getting 550 ftp errors, but I can't tell why.
12:32:10 PM

What the heck is "Please Notify?" on the events list? People who want to read my RSS? People I'm supposed to email? People who I should notify that they showed up on my events list?

Questions/Annoyances: On an Win2k box, why doesn't Radio do multipule users. It just dumped my site into it's program directory rather than in my user directory. Multiple users on the same machine would rule. Also, If I go home and install Radio can I update the same blog? Why is there a 1 to 1 relationship with blogs and the desktop software? Also, if I get hosting for this, does that handle comments and stuff to like other editthispage/userland servers? If not oh well! What if I want to move philsown.com to point at my radio land hosted site?

I'm glad Radio 8 is not free. I'm definitely one of those, "You get what you pay for" kind of people. I would prefer to use something that someone felt confident enough about to charge me for. The news agregator and blog tool together is way cool. I'm still wary of becoming a userland person. I wonder if Radio 8 is escaping my quotes into an HTML safe entity. Probably not.
11:24:15 AM

Ok, so Radio 8.0 is supposed to be very easy now. I'll admit not having the program window is nice. Having the coffee cup theme is nice. Ugly ass systray Icon. XP has spoiled me for all lousy looking Icons. We'll play around and see how it goes.
