2004 Presidential Election

Electoral-vote.com: "Slate has a good article about which pollsters did well and which didn't, and about where the conventional wisdom about polling missed the mark. They confirm my earlier observation that Scott Rasmussen did the best job, despite his use of robodialers and talking computers instead of people to conduct the polls."

Iraq Update

Coyote Gulch does not post very often regarding the War in Iraq. A couple of articles caught my attention today.

First, Blogs for Bush reports, "What the growing desperation on the part of the enemy shows is that we are very close to winning it all - they are butchering unarmed women in a last desperate and pathetic attempt to scare us into quitting. We're winning this war - and the next phase is not necessarily to be looked for in arms and bombs, but in speeches and votes as the Iraqi people tell by their actions what they think of the terrorists who murder in their name."

Meawhile, Juan Cole has a roundup of events that occurred over the weekend.

Update: Iraq the Model: "I keep telling myself that if we are ever going to lose this struggle for democracy in Iraq it would be the result of partisan conflicts either in Iraq or America."
