Senator John Kerry will be in Colorado next week, according to the Rocky Mountain News [June 4, 2004, "Kerry visits next week, hoping to sway state"]. From the article, "Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry will campaign in Colorado next week in an attempt to sway the independent voters who call the shots. His visit, along with the TV ad money being spent by both Kerry's and President Bush's campaigns, attest to Colorado's status as a battleground state in the war for electoral votes. Kerry will arrive in Denver on Sunday and give a speech Monday, although details are still being worked out. He also is scheduled to visit Colorado again for a fund-raiser later this month."
