MoveOn.org members held meetings on Monday around the country in an attempt to help defeat President Bush this November. Here's an article from the Denver Post about a recent Battleground States poll from George Washington University (via the Tarrance Group) [June 30, 2004, "Personal qualities keeping race close, poll shows"]. You can download the poll here. Here's the link to the Wall Street Journal's Battleground States Map.
Arizona Central: "In contrast to close results from a survey two weeks earlier, a poll released Tuesday indicated that Arizonans prefer President Bush by a wide margin over Sen. John Kerry in a presidential race. Of 400 people polled statewide for the Channel 8 (KAET-TV) program Horizon, 47 percent said they were likely to vote for Bush, and 35 percent for Kerry. Sixteen percent were undecided and 2 percent supported independent Ralph Nader. The poll was conducted Thursday through Sunday. Its margin of error was plus or minus 4.9 percentage points."
