The Rocky Mountain News is running a story about Jason Bane and his association with the Colorado Pols. From the article, "(Daniel) Brogan spent part of Friday reviewing Bane's work for 5280, and so far he said he saw no reason his affiliation should change now that he has been 'outed.'" Mr. Bane was an anonymous contributor to Colorado Pols until today.
Here's a link to one of Mr. Bane's posts about Referendums C and D from the 5280 Weblog.
Jim Spencer is urging voters to pass Referendums C and D [July 22, 2005, "Referendums about roads, not sex toys"]. He writes, "Without passage of Referendums C and D, transportation officials reported Wednesday, money to build and repair roads will run roughly $300 million short of what's needed for the next four years. Overpasses and interchanges won't get built because most of the cuts will have to come in new construction, CDOT spokeswoman Stacey Stegman said."
