Denver November 2006 Election

In his column in today's Rocky Mountain News Peter Blake writes, "Beauprez, according to friends, is as willing to run for governor now as he was unwilling a few months ago. But it won't be an easy decision. He enjoys the House, has a seat on the powerful Ways and Means Committee and will continue to bring plenty of pork back to his 7th District as long as the Democrats maintain similar registration numbers."

Lots of rumours swirling aroung my boss lately. Bob Ewegen writes, "But if you want Democratic hearts to flutter, mention Denver's phenomenally popular Mayor John Hickenlooper," in his column in today's Denver Post [March 5, 2005, Hickenlooper for Governor?].

Mr. Ewegen, please drop "Hickzonner."
