Bob Schaffer's campaign is picking up endorsements and steam according to the Rocky Mountain News [June 18, 2004, "Schaffer gains support"]. From the article, "Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., announced at a Washington news conference Thursday that Schaffer was among four Senate candidates who will receive money from the campaign funds and political action committees of members of the Republican Study Committee. 'We sent him a FedEx package' of checks Thursday, Flake said. He said that Schaffer will split $100,000 with South Carolina's Jim DeMint, Louisiana's David Vitter, and Oklahoma's Tom Coburn."
