And, finally, I have one site again. Raggedcastle simply redirects here. For now.  11:32:29 PM  permalink

This is a start. This new design is based on a template which uses CSS more and tables less. I'm going to use it as a spring-board for completely eliminating tables (except for the calendar in the corner which would be nearly impossible to do well in CSS (and pointless)) and making this 100% standards compliant xhtml and css. But one step at a time...  11:26:03 PM  permalink

Have Geocache, Will Travel So, I'm behind the times. This is the first I've heard of it and it sounds like a lot of fun. I may have to finally get a GPS device...  10:23:23 PM  permalink

An interesting article about a silly thing. Warbloggers are, I have learned, the neophytes in the blogging world who, it seems, are torqueing off a number of older-school bloggers who are bothered by the attention these newcomers are getting. I remember getting pissed off when America Online unleashed hordes of net.idiots onto the scene turning the Internet from a niche filled with intelligent, knowledgable users into a pit of morons who couldn't figure out what an FAQ was or where they should stick it.

One part of the article was of special interest. It referred to one blogger as follows: "Cameron Barrett, a programmer and Web designer in New York who has been publishing his Camworld blog (camworld.com) since 1997, making him one of the first bloggers." I've been doing this since 1994. What does that make me?  8:22:13 AM  permalink
