Reading Good Books
I just finished Book 5 of 6 in David Brin's amazing Uplift series. It's been ages since I have been this enthralled by anything I have read. His books have such scope and a wealth of deep, wonderful ideas. That last time I can remember being this captivated by a book was Vernor Vinge's A Fire Upon the Deep (and I haven't read the sequel to that one yet). Here's an indication of how much I am enjoying these books: I actually got sad when I bought the final book in the series today. I'm going to miss reading them when this is all said and done.  10:39:25 PM
