gleefulling: David Coursey, Executive Editor of the ZDNet anchor desk, seems almost to be falling in love with the Macintosh. Could it be? He writes:

"FRANKLY, I AM getting a bit tired of telling these Windows bigots--people who don't even know why they use Windows except that everyone else does--about the wonders of Macintosh. Hell, Windows is just fine for them, so I'd hate to push them into a non-conformity they just couldn't handle."

public scrutiny:NPR commentator Frank Deford suggested this morning that sports judges (i.e. in ice skating) and referees (in all sports) should be forced to hold press conferences after every sporting event to answer questions about their judgements. He thinks this would make them more honest and reduce controversial calls. I couldn't agree more. That's what public scrutiny does -- it keeps things honest. So why does the Bush administration want to keep everything it does secret. What are they hiding? (The Deford comments were from Morning Edition. Unfortunately it looks like they don't stream his comments because of copyright issues.)  8:21:02 AM      comment
