Unplugging Vince Outlaw's Radio Weblog - It's Moving Day! Moving day to Fortress Outlaw Wright. The anticipation has been building. Actually the apprehension. But I'm into it now. Especially after having to do a little thinking in advance for the entire last month about packing, termite tenting, popcorn ceilings (scaped starting today!), kitchen remodling, tile, carpet, bars (on windows, you drunkerds), garages, movers, stair-worthy safety gates, loaaaaaaaaans, dog care givers extrodinare, safe relocation, slab reconstruction, box donators, contingencies, and many more. And my Doll Face has been doing the bulk of the thinking...and doing...making a great home for her family! LYVO.
 And thinking a little bit about enjoying the view west (right down Mission Valley, across Jack Murphy Stadium, to a little patch of blue Pacific Ocean on the horizon). A major apprehension-reducing point in all of this. Check it out. The weblog will be unplugged for up to a couple of weeks. Will update events over on my much-unused, The New Jazz Thing weblog (http://NewJazzThing.EditThisPage.com). Have confirmed I will be the Jazz 88 host on a bus trip to The Idyllwild Jazz In The Pines festival, Saturday, August 24, 2002. Should be a great day of meeting jazz fans on the trip up and back...and fantastic music! Anyone know any Jazz Trivia games for the road?! I think there seats available on the bus, it leaves SD at 7:30 am and returns around 7:30 pm, I believe. Email me at outlawv@aol.com if you want more info. Come on, fill it up! No TNJT tonight (8/15), so we'll be back on the radio next Thursday (8/22) talking about the move and getting back into all the New! Maybe we'll talk to some folks about the festival also.
