Film cameras ...

I think I lack the patience to develop film anymore. Debbie asserts "that film is better than digital", but check out the enlarged versions of the above digital pictures (click 'em.)

Soon, when digitally created images surpass filmed pictures, in resolution, dynamic range and durability, will film still have an edge? Will I ever see an invisible latent image appear right before my (strained under the safelight) eyes. Now, with preview and histograms I know exactly how the image will look. Just adjust things - camera, lights, position - shoot, shoot, shoot, and a perfect illustration rolls out from the workflow..

I kinda miss the magic, though. Wondering if it'll turn out?
