"The fact that people don't know me doesn't mean that I'm interesting,"

So says Lucian Freud in the New York Times article by Michael Kimmelman. You remember Freud, he painted the Queen of England (he's English after all) and a lot of people got upset cause he's got a unique style. Regardless of how interesting he isn't, his paintings are worth checking out if you get the chance.

And yeah, he's the grandson of the Father of Psychoanalysis.
Which would make him, what, the Nephew of Psychoanalysis?

Paul at gammatron phase II, has a nifty article on the polychromaticity of LEDs (with cool pictures.) Seems a lot of light that is emitted from LEDs is colored differently than the perceived color of the device.
